August 5, we gathered some of the students and their siblings together for a little fun.  Here is the group photo!

Iglesia Bautista Hermanos Unidos in Fajardo on Sunday!

Monday, we met ESD's newest student who is 4 years old and doesn't know his name yet but he has learned to sign PLEASE

TUESDAY
Saul (left) brought his hearing-impaired sister (right) with him to school! Jen (middle) has her hands really full!  Today Saul learned the word ROCK.
We took our VBS team to the rainforest for a cool afternoon :-)
Each one had some responsibility for a child of course.

WEDNESDAY

Chapel time was wonderful today!
We saw a re-enactment of David and Goliath!

THURSDAY

FRIDAY

Sunday afternoon we worked to prepare for VBS
Everyone wants to pose with G.I. Jeremiah.

MONDAY!

Monday morning chapel :-)

Tuesday's Bible lesson with the younger crowd may have had only 5 students but it took three workers' energy to keep them facing in the right direction so they could SEE ( deaf kids "hear" with their eyes ) what was being taught

Laurie Teel is with us this week.  Here she is leading songs in chapel.

And three people shared testimonies!  How wonderful to hear what God is doing in the lives of our new friends

We had a good day with work done and relationships built.

We played at the beach, enjoyed seeing mothers chatting together and children enjoying fish and each other.
