The Evangelical School for the Deaf (E.S.D.) provides educational services for deaf and hearing impaired underprivileged children on the island of Puerto Rico. E.S.D. is classified as a school under Sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(ii) of the Internal Revenue Code and is a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. E.S.D. has a strict non-discrimination policy.
