| Specific Projects you may help with: On a monthly basis Can you sponsor a child? The tuition for our school is at a minimal cost to each student. We only charge about half of what the actual costs should be. Unfortunately some families cannot even meet this small monthly amount. The tuition fees per month are as follows: Kindergarten $25 US / month Lower grades $50 US / month Upper grades $75 US /month If you would be interested in helping to sponsor a student please contact us.
Sponsor a teacher or worker Without teachers our students will be playing rather than learning. Our teachers come to us as missionary workers receiving no financial compensation from the school. They live on the school grounds for a minimal rent and are able to use school vehicles when they are available. Teachers may be sponsored for any amount on a monthly or quarterly basis. You will have direct communication with the worker you support. Make lunch We no longer have free lunches and God has provided for us in many ways. If you would like to make lunch for the students and staff, send us your recipe and a check to cover the cost of supplies. We will make it and send you a picture! Buy LunchFor $15 you can buy lunch for the staff and students of ESD. Our regular meals include: Rice and beans Pork chops or chicken Veggies | Spagetti Meatsauce Salad Bread | Hotdogs Salad or veggies Chips | Sandwiches on fresh bread Lettuce and tomato Carrot sticks | You can treat us by sending along additional for dessert, afterschool snacks, fresh fruits, or a surprise! Annual Projects
Buy them booksWe buy the students’ books for them at the beginning of each school year. The families who can afford it pay a $75 matriculation fee to help with the cost of books and school supplies. The actual cost for these purchases is anywhere from $100 to $175 depending on the subject matter and grade level.
ONE TIME PROJECTS Fix their desks Most of our desktops have seen better days. We would like to refinish them using plywood and formica. We estimate that this process will cost $800 for materials plus labor (unless we have a volunteer). REtop the multi-purpose games court Our court is getting older and needs some refurbishing. Additionally we are looking into a gentler top so that little knees do not get shredded when their owners fall. We estimate this project (surfacing, backboards, backstop/fence) to be about $2000.
Help us get a car or van. The school owns two 15 passenger vans which are available only for staff over 21 years of age to drive. The school also owns a minivan which is used for business trips and student transportation. All of our vehicles are approaching the 10 year mark. We are looking into the purchase of a car in an effort to be environmentally friendly and save on gas and other expenses. A car can be purchased for $5000 or less.
