What's changed
We started back to classes on January 13 :-)

And on January 14, we visited a friend and played in the pool!

Jim O'Brien came to lend a hand with some maintenance work. He single-handedly reduced the shrubbery by the chapel to knee-height and left a list of things To Do for future workers.

Gerry and Sharon Martin along with Andy and Kathy Barber visited and put their skills to the test!  The ladies did some painting while the men did some work in this and that.  Their youngest daughters joined them for a week of respite from the Canadian cold.

Here, Gerry and Andy tunnel under the sidewalk to redirect the down spout, eliminating the sometimes rain-shower enjoyed by staff and visitors.  A later group will dig a trench to place a rain run-off outlet pipe under the play area directing the rain water into the pasture and bypassing the playground area.  We hope this will make the playground drier and more accessible to the kids.
